Configuring a ***SPAM*** Filter in Outlook Express

1. Select Tools->Message Rules->Mail from the Outlook task bar.

2. In box 1, check the box that says Where the subject line contains specific words.

3. In box 2, check the box that says Move it to the specified folder.

4. In box 3, click the link that says contains specific words.

5. Type ***SPAM*** and click Add

6. Click Ok.

7. In box 3, click the link that says specified.

8. If you do not have a SPAM or Junk mail folder already set up, highlight Local Folders and click New Folder. If you already have a SPAM or Junk mail folder set up, you may skip to step 11.

9. Enter SPAM or Junk as the name of the folder and click OK.

10. Select the folder you have created and click OK.

11. In box 4, enter the name of the rule as SPAM.

12. Verify the accuracy of the rule and click Ok.
